MEET TBELL
TBell (Tim Bell) is a native Texan and a retired custom home builder. He and wife Rhonda live on rural property in Blanco County in the heart of Texas Hill Country. Always designing his entire career, TBell took up painting late in life, like many outside artists, and was immediately drawn to geometric designs of fanciful characters, all of whom have pet names through the works are generally untitled.
TBell uses acrylic paints on precut and -sanded plywood for best results. He begins by sketching his design in pencil, some in freehand and other elements using guidance like ruler, compass and even protractor.
Each piece is unique, while all belonging to the same family of unique and entertaining designs that delight TBell’s fans.
Once a piece sells, that’s the only time TBell will do that work. So don’t miss out — if you see something you like, jump on it because chances are, the next time you visit, it may be gone.
Thank you for your interest in TBell’s folk art.
